An Update for Paid Subscribers

Last week, I quit my day job as a game writer. It was a difficult decision to make, but last fall, I received a revise and resubmit request for my novel, Lit by Burning. As I’ve discussed in previous posts, my path to publication has been a long and frustrating journey. I’ve decided to step away from my day job to give this book one last try before hanging it up.

All that said, I’ll also be taking a break from posting here to focus on this revision. I paused subscription payments today. Paid subscribers will still have access to all of our published AMAs and craft lessons. This week, I’m also offering paid subscribers one (1) free query letter review. I have an April deadline for my R&R, and I will return to Craft with Kat on April 21st with an update. In the meantime, I may occasionally pop into your inbox with free posts on the writing life, but my main focus will be working on Lit until the end of April.
