Today, I’m so excited to announce Craft with Kat’s new chat feature.
I’ve set up a conversation space in the Substack app where we can talk about all things writing-related. Every week, I’ll post short prompts, and you can jump into the discussion.
This week, we’re starting with an accountability thread. Come post your writing goals for the week and cheer on your fellow writers. Our accountability thread is open to everyone.
Paid subscribers can post questions for the monthly AMA in the chat. You can also send me your questions by replying to any Craft with Kat email. The first AMA will go out to subscribers on Wednesday 11/30.
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join conversation as it happens.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.

Is there anywhere else we can view what's in the chat? I have an android phone, which doesn't have chat available in the app.
